About us

Justin Kau, the founder and lead designer of Rock + Fern Design Works is an Oregon native. Educated at Oregon State University and University of Oregon, he holds a BS in Horticulture and a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture. 

Justin has almost 10 years of experience in landscape design and construction at multiple firms in the PNW. His robust hands-on experience informs his creative design solutions to complex problems.
